Learning to Color

Pyper has recently decided that coloring is very cool. She is pretty good about not eating the crayons, but I still have to watch her, as they do wander in every now and then. A few years ago, my roommate gave me a Cars coloring station for my birthday. I have not used it as I was waiting for that exact right moment and turns out it is a wonderful item for Pyper to practice on. We tapped the bottom of a cardboard box so that it is 'laminated' on the top. This is her table, it is used for stacking blocks, coloring, climbing, and sitting on. I like letting her color on it, because I really don't care if the box gets colored on and she loves it.

 

Movie Mania

Pyper is supposed to have about a minute and a half attention span. I don't believe it, at least not when it comes to her favorite movies. She can sit and watch the entire full length movie. Toy Story and Tangled are at the top of her favorites list, with The Princess & the Frog and Finding Nemo coming in close behind. Finding Nemo is new to the favorites list, which is a relief, because I am getting so sick of Toy Story. But she loves it, she even got Jessie & Buzz from Santa for Christmas this year. These toys are favorites for sure, they have to go everywhere with us.The only place they aren't allowed is eating time, bath time, and bed time.
